How Does the DM-SMARTLINER Work?

Fascinating Metallic Effects for Brilliant Design on Paper or Cardboard

The designs to be metallized are first printed on paper or cardboard using a digital press. The desired metallization is then simply transferred to the printed design by our DM-SMARTLINER. The metallized sheets can be overprinted with colors. This allows you to design fascinating creations in first-class resolution, many colors, and deep brilliance.

  • First sheet is usable – no make-ready required
  • Up to 3,100 SRA3 sheets/hour (depending on print and substrate)

Our stand-alone unit DM-SMARTLINER can be operated and controlled simply and conveniently via a high-quality touch display. The safety system monitors all machine parameters to ensure the highest process stability. Substrate classes can be conveniently stored to apply the same parameters repeatedly and ensure a consistently high quality level.
