Overprinting in the graphic industry is a really demanding task. But with the support of LUXOR®/ALUFIN® GIO you can a reach whole new level of design freedom. In order to achieve good results during overprinting, KURZ GIO adheres perfectly on most cardboard and paper substrates. So, in contrast to other finishing techniques, no metal or color particles are released during the printing operation. GIO supports overprinting with oxidative or UV-curing inks, with or without further over-lacquering. It can be used on most printing presses.
Finishes that don’t pose an additional environmental burden: Only 100% recyclable and compostable, wafer-thin decorative layers of pure aluminum and a minimum amount of varnish are applied to your product to protect the decor. This means: no plastic, no harmful coating materials, no danger to the environment!
